Horse Called War is a self-declared Revolution of American Metal! They've combined technical skills, smooth grooves and melodies to create a solid metal sound that's like potato chips-I just can't get enough!!! I had the guys slow down for two minutes to chat with me about their work...How and when did you guys start? "About 4 years ago...nothing really special, just guys who liked the same kinda music got together and started playing..." Well, everybody's got to start somewhere! What is a Horse Called War all about? "Fucking beer and metal!!! Hahahaha! Seriously, we're about making the best music and putting on the best show for our fans every single time!!" Well, having said that, and knowing you've played some of the big names in Metal, with what bands do you guys go well with? "Lamb of God, Pantera, Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Meshuggah, Bleed the Sky, Rikets...shit everyone and anyone who brings it, ya know?!" I DO know, keep it brutal guys!!! How many CD's have you released thus far? "2EP's and 1 full length that we just released in Dec of '07." Which is-of course-Becoming, and you can purchase it directly from the band here...So guys, what is the market in OK like, do you have a good scene where you're at? "It's a small scene but it IS growing. There's a lot of REALLY talented bands here as well. Bands come from out of town...touring nationals and just bands starting out and they're all usually pretty impressed with the amount of talent we have here and how well we all work together. There's a TON of camaraderie here." That sounds great-it's about time that the underground Metal scene stands together! Thanks for taking the time to stand with Mistys XXX Girls, guys!
